Hello everyone and hope your summer is SMASHING so far! I’ve been waiting for this post for the longest of time! Zaful have been the nicest of people for sending me these products to try, and I’m here to give you my honest review!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! It has been a hot minute since my last post. And honestly, it’s because I lost my mojo a tiny bit. But I am now back in full force with a haul from DRESSLILY. If you don’t remember (you probably don’t, I’m easily forgettable!), a while ago I did a wishlist for them, which you can read here. And I got some really nice things which I would love to share with you all!
Hey everybody! Welcome back to my blog!
As a few of you may already know, from the 1st until 5th of August I was on holiday with my older sister. We travelled to Budapest and also spent a day in Vienna. It was an amazing adventure and I’ve seen so many things, and enjoyed learning about a whole new culture (as I usually do when travelling to a new country).
I will be showing you what I bought in relation to fashion, accessories, souvenirs and more (in no chronological order).
Let’s start shall we…?
I got this first piece from Stradivarius. It’s a blue playsuit with half-length sleeves and a floral print. It shows the cleavage a it too much for my likings so I’ll be sewing a piece of it.
The next thing I got is yet another playsuit, but this time from a store called C&A. It’s got thin spaghetti straps, and a lace detail on the V-neck and thigh bits. It’s completely covered with a cute little floral print on a black background. I’ve already worn this on my way back home from the holiday, and let me tell you: it looks and feels good wearing it!
Next up are these two cute tank tops from Tezenis. One has a comic strip-style type of print, while the other has cute little bananas all over it.
Up next is this cute bikini top and bottom (not as a set) from H&M. I needed a girlier bikini than the swimsuit I have and this was the result! I love the floral print on the top and the crochet-like part on the bottoms.
These shorts are also from H&M. I love everything about it, from the print down to its style.
I also got this cute Pusheen pyjama trousers from H&M. I couldn’t resist, I just had to buy them!
This top is also from H&M. It has birds perching on a plant all over it. Love it!
These trousers are also from H&M (will this ever end? Nope, up next are accessories!). They’re a big big round the legs but I like how it fits.
Up next are the accessories I got from H&M, which are… a lot, as much as I bought clothes.
I got this baby pink compact selfie stick, which I needed as I was borrowing my dad’s for the holiday. Worth every penny.
Also got this transparent make-up bag, which I needed as my old one is a bit too small.
I also bought an eyebrow fixing brush and this body spray in a pink macaroon smell. The smell is AMAZING.
Also from H&M is this cute pug sharpener. For those who know me really well, they know how much I love pugs… and dogs in general.
I also got two pairs of shoes, one black and the other with blue and white stripes.
Last two items from H&M are these knee-high socks and sunglasses pouch which says ‘Be Wild and Wander’ on it.
Next up are items I got from Claire’s! They had a buy 6 pay for 3 offer so me and my older sister got three items each, and this are my things!
First up is this cute polar bear with sparkly blue eyes, which I named Gunther (for those who watch Adventure Time know what I mean).
Second and third item I got were these two beautiful golden hair bands, one with leaves on it and the other with little flowers.
I got this mini USB ventilator from a store called Colosseum in Vienna. Was slightly disappointed that it didn’t work when I tried it at my hotel room.
I think I got these from Colosseum as well. They’re white trainers with a rubbery type front. They’re a bit dirty as I’d worn them with the C&A playsuit already shown previously.
I also don’t know where I got this tshirt from, but for sure it’s from Vienna. It has cat-themed graphics all over it, which I think are cute.
From Promod I got this comfy dress. It has a bit of rope that ties round the waist and has yellow flowers all over it. And the bonus? It has POCKETS. I love pockets on dresses.
I got this wire from a store called Tiger. It had loads of home decors and school supplies. It was my sister’s heaven (she’s a teacher).
From a vintage store I got these pair of sunglasses and this cute shirt.
Last but not least (finally) are the clothes I got from Reserved.
First up is this striped top with midi sleeves.
Up next is this black dress with the shoulder cut out thingies (dunno what else to call them but that).
I also got these lightweight trousers.
… And there’s the mandatory souvenirs. I collect snowglobes, which is why I bought two: one from Vienna and the other from Budapest.
That’s all I got from Budapest and Vienna. I hope you enjoy my hauls. If you want more of these posts please let me know! That’s it from me; see you on the flip side!
I’ve been slacking on posts, I know. I have no excuses apart from procrastination. Big time procrastination. So as my comeback, I decided to write about my bag essentials. As a disclaimer, I’d like to point out that these are things I have in my bag; this is not an essentials bible.
Broken or chipped nail? No problemo! These printed emery board by Dirty Works are the perfect fix for better looking nails!
Pen & Notepad
I’m a writer, and get inspired everywhere I go. So a notebook and pen are always carried around with me. The ones I’m using are by Gorjuss, and they actually are gorgeous!
Whenever I’m stuck on the bus in traffic, a good read is always a good company. I’m currently reading Glamour Magazine with Reese Witherspoon on the cover.
Where I live is sunny sunny sunny, so a pair is always in my bag. I’m currently obsessed with these cat-eye sunglasses from River Island!
I carry these with me because… well, you can never know when you need an eyebrow fix. The ones I use are these slanted ones by Dirty WOrk (can you tell I’m obsessed with this brand?)
Because my nails suck, and if one is chipped or broken, then off they all go! I use Ms Manicure’s nail clipper with the grip so it’s slippery-free.
Since the weather here is humid and very dry, lips often get dry and chipped in a blink of an eye. Pearly Shine by Nivea is the perfect lip balm for those dry lips, so pucker up ladies!
Yas, ma’am! Like I said, with this weather we’re having, your skin is bound to get dry, so I use this hand cream with shea butter, which I got from H&M, and I haven’t used anything since.
Obviously, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself (sorry, got carried away there). I use this cute one from Katty Miyoko
