REVIEW: Nivea Daily Essentials 1-Minute Urban Detox Mask (Pore Refine)

Finding skincare products that won’t break your bank and does what it says can be a bit tricky… but it doesn’t have to be that way, as long as you know where to look. In the past few months, Nivea have expanded their face mask range, and last week I had the opportunity to try it out for myself: the 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Pore Refine.

The 1 Minute Urban Detox Mask Pore Refine by Nivea is one of the latest additions to the Nivea 1 Minute Urban Detox Range (aside from Moisturise and +Purify). If you would like me to review the other two, please do let me know in the comments’ section below!

This face mask refines your pores thanks to its self-heating formula (don’t worry: it’s completely harmless, especially during a cold, winter day!) that is enriched with magnolia extract. The fun thing about this range is that it is designed for those ladies who have a busy schedule, as it should only take a minute to perform its magic. That’s all – there’s no need to wait around with this one.

The translucent-gel formula should be applied onto wet skin. After, simply rub gently to ensure you’re applying all of its benefits into your skin. Upon application, I noticed the warmth of the formula on my face. After a minute or so, rinse off with water.

the verdict

My skin did feel good, but I didn’t notice a dramatic difference. It could be because I’ve only used this mask a few times this week. However, it is a fun and quick pamper session for when you don’t have hours to spend in the bathroom. Combine it with a nourishing conditioner and turn your morning shower into a quick (and free!!) sunrise spa session.
