I truly needed this, but I felt bad for the expensive gift so I paid for half. Thanks bae ❤

A present for myself which is the most expensive in my 23 years of life: my own car! My Lil Bastard is a 2011 Chevy Spark+.

Since both of us had a LOT of financial struggles this year, we decided on small gifts (we both had a car to buy). But this i more thoughtful than you think: one thing you should know about me is that I am an avid collector of snow globes.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest things in life that make the best gifts. These small things show the hard work I did paid off, andhe students and their families appreciated it and decided to show it with a token of appreciation.

As a tradition, my in-laws fill in a stocking with chocolates. Since I was  little late for the party, they just gave me the stocking filling: a grand Ferrero Rocher, a 4-pack Ferrero Rocher and a 2-pack Lindt reindeer. In short,  my ideal stocking filling. Then, on their Christmas tree, they put small Nutella jars for each one of us. Thanks, -laws, for sabotaging my “diet”. Not.

Then, knowing their house is located in one of the coldest places in Malta and that I am always cold af, they bought me a pair of purple thermal socks with fur on the inside. 10 out of 10.

Under the Christmas tree, I had two other gifts: a cute taupe crossbody bag from Carpisa and a personalised pen with my name. I especially love the quote, which really describes how I feel about writing.
