On the 7th day of Christmas, my credit card gave to me…: A Christmas [mini] Haul

Hello my beautiful internet friends! Yesterday was my first proper shopping spree in what seems like ages, probably since before I bought my car back in November, and boy did I need it! Even though I didn’t buy much, I went to spend almost €150, which for me, is a huge amount. but they were all things I somehow needed, especially the jeans I bought.

Here’s what I got from the two shops I visited: New Look and Dorothy Perkins, both in Valletta.

Dorothy Perkins

First thing I laid eyes on was this pair of super skinny jeans in the style ‘Frankie’. At first glance, under the light, it looked like a dark grey blended with a pinch of black, but when I tried it on, it looked more grape or blackcurrant, which is why I bought it in the first place.

Size 16R – €30

Then I found this pair of blue light wash jeans with embellishments. I loved its fit and colour, and the only downfall I could find is that you fasten it with three buttons and not the standard button and zipper.

New Look

Then I headed to my favourite local store, where most of my wardrobe is from: New Look.

First I got is this amazing face palette. I mostly needed this for the contouring section, but since my brow powder is slowly running out, I’ll be using the brow section as well. Plus it has instructions on how and what!

Then, I got this cute gingerbreadman set, which contains the mix, piping, chocolate decorations and cutter. Since baking those Nutella biscuits, I’m really getting into the baking spirit this festive season!

Now that the accessories are done and dusted, I was on the hunt for two things: a pair of jeans (because I was running out on them! Either too big or small!) and a pair of trousers to match a velvet top I’d gotten a while ago). And I delivered!

These velvet cropped trousers are total goals! Flowy yet very cosy to wear!

Size 12 – €29.99

Then I got these super stretchy and comfy skinny jeans in the style ‘India’. And I paired it up with this snuggly and cute pink jumper which was worn AND recommended at a New Look event last week by one of my fave local bloggers Danita.

Jumper – Size M €24.99 Jeans – Size 16 €29.99

So this was all I got (this time!) Which item was your favourite from all these? I cannot choose just one! But I’ve been looking for some good pairs of jeans for the longest time. Because here’s the thing: my waist is quite small compared to my thighs. So one size can fit one thing and not the other, which really ticks me off. So I resorted to wearing mostly jeggings. And my last pair of good denim jeans are now a little snug round my thighs so I had to buy a few more pairs, and this was the result!

Hope you enjoyed reading xo
